Research

Public value, innovation, impact, cross-sector collaboration and co-creation.

Our research addresses a fundamental question: how can organisations and individuals create added value for society through their core activities? We explore this question using two complementary research approaches: understanding and measuring the added value that organisations create for society (public value), and examining the processes through which new solutions to societal challenges emerge, spread and transform existing systems (social innovation). These research approaches are supported by various research programmes and linked by individual projects that bridge the gap between conceptual development and applied field research.
